The CBU Honors Program awards and serves the highest academically achieving students on campus across majors and years. Being accepted for Honors status is the most prestigious academic position a student at CBU could hold. Graduating with Honors is written on your diploma besides your GPA and elevates the value of your degree, making it more competitive on the job market alongside other high-performing students graduating from other universities.
All eligible applicants to CBU are encouraged to apply before they arrive on campus or decide to attend CBU. The selection process weighs several factors, primarily test scores (if available) and high school GPA (3.5 or above). If you are currently enrolled at CBU but are not a member of the Honors Program, we encourage you to apply if you meet the above requirements or feel that you have other academic qualifications that make you eligible.
Students are encouraged to apply by May 15 for fall admission to the program. After your application is reviewed, you will be contacted to be interviewed to complete your application process.
